Miss Danielle Mead

Miss Danielle teaches Drama and Theatre Arts and Grade 3 Ballet

Miss Danielle has been dancing for almost 40 years. Her dance journey commenced in 1978 at the Penrith Dance Academy. She then went on to the McDonald College of Performing Arts and combined her school education with Dance and Drama studies.

Her dance career saw Danielle travel to Victoria to be trained at Dulci Lee’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio, where she went on to obtain teaching qualifications and performing arts skills in dancing, acting and singing.

After a year dancing in Asia, she came back to Australia in 1991 to run her own dance Studio and went on to complete University Degree in Commerce/Marketing. As well as a host of short courses in Production, show management and Director’s course. The next 9 years saw Danielle be involved in 9 stage productions with the Penrith Musical and Comedy Company and then with the Campbelltown Theatre Group. These roles involved, Assistant director, Choreographer, Lead roles, supporting actor and cast member.

Danielle joined the Academy of Performing Arts in 2014 as a dance student completing RAD Intermediate Grade to assist with her RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. Whilst also teaching 8-12 year olds Music Theatre.
