Miss Danielle Mead

Miss Dan teaches Drama and Theater Arts

Miss Dan has been dancing for almost 40 years. Her dance journey commenced in 1978 at the Penrith Dance Academy. She then went on to the McDonald College of Performing Arts and majored in dance and drama. Miss Dan obtained teaching qualifications and performing arts skills in dancing, acting and singing in Melbourne after finishing school.

After a year dancing in Asia, she came back to Australia in 1991 and went on to complete University Degree in Commerce/Marketing, as well as a host of short courses in Production, show management and Director’s course. She was involved in 9 stage productions with the Penrith Musical and Comedy Company and then with the Campbelltown Theater Group as a director, choreographer and performer.
Danielle joined the Academy of Performing Arts in 2014 as a dance teacher, teaching our Music Theater and drama classes.

Little known fact-Miss Dan has a daughter who attends the academy. She loves to see as many stage shows as possible.
