Professional ballerinas look so beautiful spinning effortlessly again and again like a spinning top, only to land gracefully in their end pose.
Anyone who has ever participated in a ballet class can tell you that pirouettes are MUCH harder than they look. You have to think about your arms, you balance, the amount of force required, your supporting leg, your spot, your core, and hope that everything comes together all at the same time.
A handful of people are natural turners but for the rest of us we have our good days and our bad days. But all is not lost. The perfect spinning top pirouette can be achieved every time.
